Bike Barn Weekly Rides

At Bike Barn, we love riding as much as you do! We lead a variety of bike rides every week, and we're sure that there's a ride at one of our locations that can meet your cycling needs. Each weekly ride starts from one of our store locations and our rides very inclusive and casual. Please check out our rides below and join us for a spin soon!

Weekly Rides

All cyclists are expected to wear proper safety gear, including a helmet, and to obey traffic laws on Bike Barn weekly rides. By participating, you agree to our Release and Waiver. Click here to read.

This ride leaves from our Champions store; heads north and then east towards Old Town Spring, where we stop at Ellen's Cafe for a coffee/restroom break. The pace is geared for the intermediate rider, which is 18-22mph. Please call the store if more details are necessary.

This is a beautiful ride around the south end of Lake Houston. The ride is geared toward the intermediate to advanced skill level riders - 35 & 50 mile ride option.

We have a 16-18mph Saturday Shop Ride that leaves at 7:30 am. Typical route lengths will be between 20 – 30 miles. Riders need to be able to ride an average pace of 16-18mph. We recommend you have a way to route back if you are separated from the ride. Please email Katy@bikebarn.com requesting to be added to our weekly shop ride. Join us for a 15 - 25 miles ride, at a pace of 16-18 mph. This is an intermediate level road bike ride. We will follow bike routes and bike lanes. Helmet is required.

Join the Champions crew for a 75 mi ride from our Spring location into the rolling hills of Montgomery County. This is for advanced skill level riders with an average pace of 22+ mph. This ride is not recommended for beginners.

Route covers a variety of Houston neighborhoods. Not recommended for beginners. Must have intermediate to advanced cycling skills & be able to maintain a minimum of 20+ mph for 30 miles. Road bikes are recommended for this ride.

SCCC Saturday and Sunday Group Rides

Bike Barn is the primary sponsor of the Space City Cycling Club, whose mission it is to promote cycling as both a sport and as a recreational activity for the entire family. All cyclists are invited to participate in the organized club rides conditional upon the wearing of proper safety gear and obeying safety rules and traffic laws. For all non-members, the signing of a club liability disclaimer is a required condition for riding with the Club. For more information, visit SCCC.
