|Every Saturday||7:15 a.m.||This ride leaves from our Champions store; heads north and then east towards Old Town Spring, where we stop at Ellen's Cafe for a coffee/restroom break. Bike Barn is the primary sponsor of the Space City Cycling Club whose mission it is to promote cycling as both a sport and as a recreational activity for the entire family. All cyclists are invited to participate in the organized Club rides conditional upon the wearing of proper safety gear and obeying safety rules and traffic laws. What are informal rides all about? Usually rides are INFORMAL on a holiday or when an out of town or big charity-type ride are scheduled at the same time. Informal rides provide a way for people not participating in one of these other rides to ride as a group to improve ride safety and have more fun than riding alone.
